Juliane Benda Reichardt, wife of Johann Friedrich Reichardt (30) and mother of Louise Reichardt (4), dies in Berlin.
July 23, 1806:
Louise Reichardt’s (27) first publication of 12 songs is favorably reviewed in the Allgemeine musikalische Zeitung.
September 7, 1818:
Today and tomorrow see a great music festival in Hamburg wherein Handel’s (†59) Messiah and Mozart’s (†26) Requiem are performed. The participating choruses are prepared by Louise Reichardt (39).
December 17, 1819:
Two publications of songs by Louise Reichardt (40) are announced in the Hamburg Wöchentliche Nachricht. One is for 12 songs, the other six songs of Novalis.
November 17, 1826:
Louise Reichardt dies in the Free City of Hamburg, aged 47 years, seven months, and six days.
